476 Awsw ] (476-1)aasaa. Aasaa: gj swFy qY qY DoqIAw iqhry pwiein qg ] (476-1)gaj saadhay tai tai Dhotee-aa tihray paa-in tag. They wear loin cloths, three and a half yards long, and triple-wound sacred threads. glI ijn@w jpmwlIAw loty hiQ inbg ] (476-1)galee jinHaa japmaalee-aa lotay hath nibag. They have rosaries around their necks, and they carry glittering jugs in their hands. Eie hir ky sMq n AwKIAih bwnwris ky Tg ]1] (476-2)o-ay har kay sant na aakhee-ahi baanaaras kay thag. ||1|| They are not called Saints of the Lord - they are thugs of Benares. ||1|| AYsy sMq n mo kau Bwvih ] (476-2)aisay sant na mo ka-o bhaaveh. Such 'saints' are not pleasing to me; fwlw isau pyfw gtkwvih ]1] rhwau ] (476-2)daalaa si-o paydaa gatkaavahi. ||1|| rahaa-o. they eat the trees along with the branches. ||1||Pause|| bwsn mWij crwvih aUpir kwTI Doie jlwvih ] (476-3)baasan maaNj charaaveh oopar kaathee Dho-ay jalaaveh. They wash their pots and pans before putting them on the stove, and they wash the wood before lighting it. bsuDw Koid krih duie cUly@ swry mwxs Kwvih ]2] (476-3)basuDhaa khod karahi du-ay choolHay saaray maanas khaaveh. ||2|| They dig up the earth and make two fireplaces, but they eat the whole person! ||2|| Eie pwpI sdw iPrih AprwDI muKhu Aprs khwvih ] (476-4)o-ay paapee sadaa fireh apraaDhee mukhahu apras kahaaveh. Those sinners continually wander in evil deeds, while they call themselves touch-nothing saints. sdw sdw iPrih AiBmwnI sgl kutMb fubwvih ]3] (476-5)sadaa sadaa fireh abhimaanee sagal kutamb dubaaveh. ||3|| They wander around forever and ever in their self-conceit, and all their families are drowned. ||3|| ijqu ko lwieAw iqq hI lwgw qYsy krm kmwvY ] (476-5)jit ko laa-i-aa tit hee laagaa taisay karam kamaavai. He is attached to that, to which the Lord has attached him, and he acts accordingly. khu kbIr ijsu siqguru BytY punrip jnim n AwvY ]4]2] (476-6)kaho kabeer jis satgur bhaytai punrap janam na aavai. ||4||2|| Says Kabeer, one who meets the True Guru, is not reincarnated again. ||4||2|| Awsw ] (476-6)aasaa. He has given me a cozy bed, and placed His Ambrosial Nectar in my mouth. iqsu bwp kau ikau mnhu ivswrI ] (476-7)tis baap ka-o ki-o manhu visaaree. How could I forget that Father from my mind? AwgY gieAw n bwjI hwrI ]1] (476-7)aagai ga-i-aa na baajee haaree. ||1|| When I go to the world hereafter, I shall not lose the game. ||1|| mueI myrI mweI hau Krw suKwlw ] (476-8)mu-ee mayree maa-ee ha-o kharaa sukhaalaa. Maya is dead, O mother, and I am very happy. pihrau nhI dglI lgY n pwlw ]1] rhwau ] (476-8)pahira-o nahee daglee lagai na paalaa. ||1|| rahaa-o. I do not wear the patched coat, nor do I feel the chill. ||1||Pause|| bil iqsu bwpY ijin hau jwieAw ] (476-8)bal tis baapai jin ha-o jaa-i-aa. I am a sacrifice to my Father, who gave me life. pMcw qy myrw sMgu cukwieAw ] (476-9)panchaa tay mayraa sang chukaa-i-aa. He put an end to my association with the five deadly sins. pMc mwir pwvw qil dIny ] (476-9)panch maar paavaa tal deenay. I have conquered those five demons, and trampled them underfoot. hir ismrin myrw mnu qnu BIny ]2] (476-9)har simran mayraa man tan bheenay. ||2|| Remembering the Lord in meditation, my mind and body are drenched with His Love. ||2|| ipqw hmwro vf gosweI ] (476-10)pitaa hamaaro vad gosaa-ee. My Father is the Great Lord of the Universe. iqsu ipqw pih hau ikau kir jweI ] (476-10)tis pitaa peh ha-o ki-o kar jaa-ee. How shall I go to that Father? siqgur imly q mwrgu idKwieAw ] (476-10)satgur milay ta maarag dikhaa-i-aa. When I met the True Guru, He showed me the Way. jgq ipqw myrY min BwieAw ]3] (476-11)jagat pitaa mayrai man bhaa-i-aa. ||3|| The Father of the Universe is pleasing to my mind. ||3|| hau pUqu qyrw qUM bwpu myrw ] (476-11)ha-o poot tayraa tooN baap mayraa. I am Your son, and You are my Father. eykY Twhr duhw bsyrw ] (476-11)aykai thaahar duhaa basayraa. We both dwell in the same place. khu kbIr jin eyko bUiJAw ] (476-12)kaho kabeer jan ayko boojhi-aa. Says Kabeer, the Lord's humble servant knows only the One. gur pRswid mY sBu ikCu sUiJAw ]4]3] (476-12)gur parsaad mai sabh kichh soojhi-aa. ||4||3|| By Guru's Grace, I have come to know everything. ||4||3|| Awsw ] (476-12)aasaa. Aasaa: iekqu pqir Bir aurkt kurkt iekqu pqir Bir pwnI ] (476-12)ikat patar bhar urkat kurkat ikat patar bhar paanee. In one pot, they put a boiled chicken, and in the other pot, they put wine. Awis pwis pMc jogIAw bYTy bIic nkt dy rwnI ]1] (476-13)aas paas panch jogee-aa baithay beech nakat day raanee. ||1|| The five Yogis of the Tantric ritual sit there, and in their midst sits the noseless one, the shameless queen. ||1|| nktI ko Tngnu bwfw fUM ] (476-14)naktee ko thangan baadaa dooN. The bell of the shameless queen, Maya, rings in both worlds. iknih ibbykI kwtI qUM ]1] rhwau ] (476-14)kineh bibaykee kaatee tooN. ||1|| rahaa-o. Some rare person of discriminating wisdom has cut off your nose. ||1||Pause|| sgl mwih nktI kw vwsw sgl mwir AauhyrI ] (476-14)sagal maahi naktee kaa vaasaa sagal maar a-uhayree. Within all dwells the noseless Maya, who kills all, and destroys them. sgilAw kI hau bihn BwnjI ijnih brI iqsu cyrI ]2] (476-15)sagli-aa kee ha-o bahin bhaanjee jineh baree tis chayree. ||2|| She says, "I am the sister, and the daughter of the sister of everyone; I am the hand-maiden of one who marries me."||2|| hmro Brqw bfo ibbykI Awpy sMqu khwvY ] (476-15)hamro bhartaa bado bibaykee aapay sant kahaavai. My Husband is the Great One of discriminating wisdom; He alone is called a Saint. Ehu hmwrY mwQY kwiemu Aauru hmrY inkit n AwvY ]3] (476-16)oh hamaarai maathai kaa-im a-or hamrai nikat na aavai. ||3|| He stands by me, and no one else comes near me. ||3|| nwkhu kwtI kwnhu kwtI kwit kUit kY fwrI ] (476-16)naakahu kaatee kaanahu kaatee kaat koot kai daaree. I have cut off her nose, and cut off her ears, and cutting her into bits, I have expelled her. khu kbIr sMqn kI bYrin qIin lok kI ipAwrI ]4]4] (476-17)kaho kabeer santan kee bairan teen lok kee pi-aaree. ||4||4|| Says Kabeer, she is the darling of the three worlds, but the enemy of the Saints. ||4||4|| Awsw ] (476-18)aasaa. Aasaa: jogI jqI qpI sMinAwsI bhu qIrQ BRmnw ] (476-18)jogee jatee tapee sani-aasee baho tirath bharmanaa. The Yogis, celibates, penitents and Sannyaasees make pilgrimages to all the sacred places. luMijq muMijq moin jtwDr AMiq qaU mrnw ]1] (476-18)luNjit muNjit mon jataaDhar ant ta-oo marnaa. ||1|| The Jains with shaven heads, the silent ones, the beggars with matted hair - in the end, they all shall die. ||1|| qw qy syvIAly rwmnw ] (476-19)taa tay sayvee-alay raamnaa. Meditate, therefore, on the Lord. rsnw rwm nwm ihqu jw kY khw krY jmnw ]1] rhwau ] (476-19)rasnaa raam naam hit jaa kai kahaa karai jamnaa. ||1|| rahaa-o. What can the Messenger of Death do to one whose tongue loves the Name of the Lord? ||1||Pause|| Awgm inrgm joiqk jwnih bhu bhu ibAwkrnw ] (476-19)aagam nirgam jotik jaaneh baho baho bi-aakarnaa.
